When was the work done?
The work was done in June, 2011. What was involved?
It was a pretty big job. Sean used a JCB to dig up the front garden and drive to install a new imprinted concrete driveway with drainage. The front driveway and garden slopes down to our house and water used to pool there. With the new drainage system that Sean added, we don't have that problem any more. He also built a driveway side wall for me as well.
In addition to the front driveway and wall, Sean paved the back garden and built a lovely patio. Drainage was also put in so that water wouldn't build up and damage the patio or house.
How did you choose Caseys Concrete?
Word of mouth from people Sean had done work for. I spoke to them and saw the work that Sean had carried out and it was very good. I did contact a few other paving guys to get quotes but the recommendations sold me on Sean.
Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Sean Casey?
I kind of knew what I wanted but I was open to ideas.
Did Sean introduce new ideas?
Sean had good advice with regards to why imprinted concrete would be a good for my project. It would require almost no maintenance, be easy to clean and last for a long time.
How did the project run?
It was perfect and I have no complaints at all. They were here early every morning, worked through the day and got the job done. The whole project took just three and a half days from the beginning when they started digging to the final clean up and wash. A week after they finished, they came back to add some varnish to it. They needed to wait a week because the paving had to settle. After the job that Sean did for me, I'll vouch for him to anybody. The driveway and patio looks like a million dollars!
What was the biggest benefit to you of using Caseys Concrete?
The job was done brilliantly as I knew it would be. I trusted the recommendations I had received and Sean was very reassuring. You could tell he knew what he was talking about.
What's your favourite part now?
My favourite part is a big circle design he put into the middle of the driveway.
Would you recommend Caseys Concrete to others?
I would recommend sean 150%. If you get Sean to do your paving project, you won't have any problems.
Any tips for other people?
Just make sure that if your having paving done, make sure they put the hardcore down far enough as an underlay. Sean did but not everybody does.
